Four-star safety recruit Dorsey chooses Michigan, Talbott and Ash stay Blue
BY RYAN KARTJE
With little signing day drama on the docket for the Wolverines, they had two potential signees make their decisions this morning and early afternoon.
First, CA four-star safety Sean Parker opted to sign with Washington over the Wolverines.
But their next approach proved to be successful.
FL four-star safety Demar Dorsey signed his letter of intent for Michigan this afternoon, choosing the Wolverines over Florida State, Tennessee and USC, according to SI.com.
At one point, Dorsey appeared to be a definite Florida commit, but after changes with Urban Meyer and uncertainty surrounding the coaching staff next year, Dorsey signed with the Wolverines.
Dorsey is a four-star recruit to Rivals and Scout and is a five-star recruit and the second-ranked safety in the nation according to ESPN.
In addition to Dorsey signing, the Wolverines secured commitments from both Terry Talbott and Richard Ash, both defensive tackles who seemed to be wavering in the past few days.
