CORRECTION: On Sept. 8, the Athletic Department announced a date and time change for this fall's open tryouts. The new tryout date is Monday, Sept. 14 at 4:00 p.m.

The Wolverines will hold their fourth open tryout of the Rodriguez era on Monday, Sept. 14 at 4:00 p.m. at Schembechler Hall. In order to participate in the tryout, interested athletes must pre-register for tryouts at Schembechler Hall during the week of Sept. 7-11, and bring proof of a physical within the past year and contact information for their high school coach. Cleats and tennis shoes are required for the tryout.

During Rodriguez's first open tryout, in February 2008, 65 athletes tried out for the team and five made the 2008 fall roster. Last September, 28 athletes tried out for the team and three made the roster.
