Although No. 9 Michigan lost a nonconference game for the fourth year in a row and played sloppily throughout Saturday's win over Indiana, everyone still seems to be talking about the Sugar Bowl. So The Michigan Daily decided to breakdown the long shot of Michigan partying on Bourbon St. for New Year's in "Dude, Where's my Car?" style to show how silly these hopes are.

Luckily for Michigan fans, many teams ahead of Michigan in the standings face each other, which should move the loser of these contests behind the Wolverines in the BCS. Here is a look at those games:
Oct. 11 No. 2 Miami at No. 5 Florida State
Nov. 1 No. 2 Miami at No. 4 Virginia Tech
Nov. 8 No. 7 Tennessee at No. 2 Miami
Nov. 28 No. 8 Arkansas at No. 6 Louisiana State
And possibly:

Dec. 6 SEC Championship Game
Assuming that the losers of battles between top-10 teams would fall behind Michigan in the BCS standings, here's a look at what needs to happen for Michigan to land in the national title game. Better sit down with a lifetime supply of pudding for this one ...
First, Michigan needs to run the table, something many fans seem to have mistakenly assumed as a given - Michigan still faces four teams in the top 25. (No. 23 Iowa, No. 21 Minnesota, No. 25 Michigan State and No. 3 Ohio State).

No. 1 Oklahoma needs to lose.
Tough dates: Oct.11 No. 13 Texas (in Dallas)
Oct. 18 Missouri
Nov. 1 Oklahoma State
Dec. 6 Big 12 Championship Game (in Kansas City)
Oklahoma has won three in a row over Texas, but the game will be played in Dallas. Oklahoma is a far better club than Missouri and Oklahoma State, but the Cowboys have upset the Sooners each of the past two seasons. And if Oklahoma comes out atop the Big 12 South, its reward will be facing the North champion, most likely Nebraska or Kansas State.
And dennn....
No. 2 Miami needs to lose if it beats No. 5 Florida State, No. 4 Virginia Tech and No. 7 Tennessee.
Tough dates: Nov. 29 at No. 15 Pittsburgh
Even if Miami were to defeat all its opponents in the top 10, Michigan fans would still have hope. The Wolverines could still jump the Hurricanes if Miami loses to Pittsburgh, who barely lost to Miami, 28-21, last year in the Orange Bowl.
And dennnnnnn....
No. 4 Virginia Tech needs to lose if it beats No. 2 Miami.
Tough dates: Nov. 15 at No. 15 Pittsburgh
Nov. 29 Virginia
With Pittsburgh facing Virginia Tech and Miami, Michigan fans will double as Panther fans at some point this sesaon.
And dennnnnnnnnnnnnn....
No. 5 Florida State needs to lose if it beats No. 2 Miami.
Tough dates: Oct. 18 at Virginia
Nov. 1 at Notre Dame
Nov. 15 N.C. State
Nov. 29 at No. 24 Florida
The Seminoles don't face any great teams after the Hurricanes, but there will be plenty of challenges. Florida State looks especially vulnerable after barely surviving Georgia Tech, 14-13, three games ago in Tallahasee.
And dennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn....
No. 6 Louisiana State needs to lose if it beats No. 8 Arkansas.
Tough dates: Oct. 11 No. 24 Florida
Nov. 15 at Alabama
Dec. 6 SEC Championship Game
Louisiana State should come into the Arkansas game undefeated, but even if it beats the Razorbacks, the Tigers will be left with the SEC Championship game. There, Louisiana State would most likely play No. 7 Tennessee or be forced to beat No. 12 Georgia for the second time this season after beating the Bulldogs, 17-10, just a week ago.
And dennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn....
No. 7 Tennessee needs to lose if it beats No. 2 Miami
Tough dates: Oct. 4 at Auburn
Oct. 11 at No. 11 Georgia
Oct. 25 at Alabama
Dec. 6 SEC Championship Game
The Volunteers having been living by a thin thread all season and there is a very small chance that Tennessee will go into the Miami game undefeated. But if the Vols get past the Hurricanes undefeated, the only hope for Wolverine fans is that Tennessee will fall in the SEC Championship Game.

No. 8 Arkansas needs to lose if it beats No. 6 Louisiana State
Tough dates: Oct. 18 No. 24 Florida
Dec. 6 SEC Championship Game
The Hogs have an easy road, but might be out of miracles after coming back from 21 down to beat Alabama on Saturday.
And dennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn....
No. 12 Nebraska needs to lose.
Tough dates: Oct. 11 at Missouri
Nov. 1 at No. 13 Texas
