City Council approves liquor license for Silvio's

Ann Arbor City Council unanimously approved the issuance of a downtown development district liquor license to Silvio’s Organic Pizzeria, located at 715 North University Ave. at tonight's city council meeting.
The movement was incorporated by councilmember Stephen Rapundalo (D – Ward 2) and was seconded by councilmember Tony Derezinski (D – Ward 2), described by Mayor John Heiftje as "both eaters of pizza and drinkers of beer."
The license has to be sent to the state for approval before the restaurant will officially be granted a liquor license.
