Medical Science Building reoccupied after gas leak sealed

A natural gas leak has been reported on the University medical campus earlier this morning, according to University Police.
Medical Science Building I was evacuated after the leak was reported at 10:47 a.m. Passersby were cautioned by University Police to avoid the area until mid-afternoon.
The leak has since been sealed and the affected building has been reoccupied, University Police reported. Natural gas service to the Cancer Center and University Hospital will resume after ongoing repairs are completed.
