Brandon Graham shines at Senior Bowl, takes home MVP

BY TIM ROHAN

Michigan senior defensive end Brandon Graham took full advantage of the Senior Bowl last night. Graham was a disruptive force in a game meant to showcase the top senior college football players in the country and took home the game's Most Valuable Player award.

Graham had five tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble. He forced a fumble on Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson during one of his sacks which gave the ball to the North near midfield.

"It shows that I'm going to go hard 100 percent of the time all day and whoever gets me is going to love me," Graham said per the Associated Press.

And Graham wasn't the only Wolverine participating. Senior Punter Zoltan Mesko had a less than stellar performance.

Mesko booted three punts for 41, 25 and 32 yards respectively. But the 32 yard punt in the fourth quarter put the South inside the 20 yard line. He finished the day with a 32.3 average, well below his season average of 44.5 yards per punt.

Mesko and Graham are invited to attend the NFL scouting combine at the end of February as well as senior running back Brandon Minor.
