After a great effort from ace pitcher Chris Fetter last night (no one is surprised), Michigan could get a huge boost in the Big Ten. There's no understating how important this game is for a team struggling as much as Michigan has. The pitching is the key today, as it has been in games two and three for the past few series.

A solid effort against Michigan State last week gives Alan Oaks a spot in the rotation, and if you ask me, it's a great choice by coach Rich Maloney. His number two man most of the season, Eric Katzman, has been coming up lame as of late, and Oaks only allowed three runs last weekend. And today, the Wolverine pitchers have to shut down arguably the most dominant hitter in the Big Ten, Josh Phegley.
If Oaks can continue that kind of success, the Wolverines could wrap up a much-needed series against the Big Ten's second-best team in Indiana.
