Music junior Curtis Wiklund and Rochester Hills resident Jordin Nelson, new fiancees, celebrate after Wiklund proposed to Nelson on a University bus on Nov. 14.

Wiklund had contacted friends from New Life Church to help out the day before. About thirty people helping out stepped onto a specially marked bus and decorated it with streamers at the C.C. Little Science Building.

When Wiklund got on the bus with Nelson at Pierpont Commons, he began a short speech on the microphone. Then, the boombox started playing "I Say a Little Prayer" from the movie "My Best Friend's Wedding" and people started singing.

While people were singing, Wiklund proposed to Nelson. She accepted.
