I hate to say this is a great article to make you feel nice and warm about the decision to hire a coach. A person that many would say is a great guy, looks like he lived a good life, but does have hidden skeletons in his closet, wake up! Almost every person that is out there can have teachers and such say averagely good things about you.

I really did like Rich as the coach at WVU, he made some very strong changes and brought the program back to life. Talent sure he got that in. Fans well he also drew them in. This though is when Rich got a big head, though he was more then just himself, thought of himself as irreplaceable. Demands instead of requests, Threats instead of discussions, and finally a power hungry agent that blew a lot of smoke up his.... Which when he could not save face did a very cowardly thing and left his team hanging.

Rich leaving a team bound for one of the largest BCS bowls out there was just not right. People question if he threw the Pitt game because it would interfere with these dealings? Who knows. It is long but done at this point. Fans of Michigan, thank for the four millions dollars to keep the true dealings, and under the table deals from coming out as Rich was dying in the court room. The day though that Rich signed the piece of paper is when he lost of his great guy reputation as mentioned above.

So as you read this article, and if gives you a warm feeling that a great program like Michigan has turned it over to the right hands for the future, more power to you. There though should be a cold shiver running down your spine asking what have we done? If it is only wins vs. tradition, have you truly hired the right man for your school? I only have to look at the players at WVU that almost rejoiced because he left because he is a control freak. They now say the WVU players enjoy coming to practice because they are treated with respect and dignity is that what is not important as we develop these fine young men for their futures?
