Football injury report: McAvoy out, Hemingway questionable

The Athletic Department released the Michigan football injury report today. Fifth-year senior offensive lineman Tim McAvoy will not play due to a knee injury, and redshirt sophomore wide receiver Junior Hemingway, who scored two touchdowns in last week's win over Western Michigan, is listed as "questionable" (defined as a 50 percent chance of playing).

It was an odd feeling, coming into a season opener against a Mid-American Conference team with absolutely no idea what to expect. But somewhere in the first 15 minutes of the Wolverines’ opener against Western Michigan on Saturday, they managed to make everything look easy again.
