At Michigan we are given syllabi at the beginning of the course that state exactly how our grades will be determined. In Germany, there are no set calculations. The professors don’t tell us what various aspects of the course are worth.

My Ann Arbor: Best brunch countdown

1. Aut Bar: bar by night, brunch restaurant by day. There’s literally nothing about this combination that could go wrong. The waiters are friendly, the food tastes like rainbows, and if you add in a sunny morning and outdoor seating, I promise you’ll be one happy bruncher. The only problem you could potentially run into is the wait: Aut Bar is not one of Ann Arbor’s best-kept secrets.
