Grundler's Gears: Stop jogging in my personal space

When my superiors asked me to write a blog on student life, I immediately quipped, “But if a student has a life, why would he or she be reading Daily blogs?” We all had a good laugh because we couldn’t think of an answer.

The Median: Political debates are overrated

Political debates are usually seen as a staple of the election season. Candidates stand before voters, speak up their message, make derisive comments about their opponents and thank the moderator. Then Republicans make a big deal about how great their candidate was and how awful the Democrat was. And the Democrats do the same. All in all, they are a predictable and often pointless affair.
