Michigan finishes regular season with loss

It was a memorable weekend in Ann Arbor for both the team, which beat No. 6 Ohio State, and the fans, who enjoyed the festivities brought along by a visit from ESPN's College GameDay to Crisler Center.

The Michigan basketball team had just one game last week, but used it efficiently. With a 56-51 win over then-No. 6 Ohio State at the Crisler Center on Saturday, the Wolverines shot themselves up to No. 11 in the Associated Press poll and brought themselves up to a tie for second place in the Big Ten standings.

On Saturday, we learned yet again that every team in the Big Ten is vulnerable — no exceptions.
Widely considered the Big Ten favorite by at the beginning of the season, Ohio State fell to Michigan State at home on Saturday in Columbus, which ended a 39-game home winning streak for the Buckeyes. And the Spartans ultimately held a team that averages over 75 points a game to just 48.
