RECAP: Michigan falls to Ohio 65-60 in NCAA Tournament

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — For the third time in his four years at the helm of the Michigan men's basketball team, John Beilein has led the Wolverines to the NCAA Tournament. On Friday night at 7:20 p.m. ET, four-seed Michigan will look to take care of 13-seed Ohio at Bridgestone Arena — home of the NHL's Nashville Predators.

DETROIT — We’re LIVE from Joe Louis Arena where No. 3 Michigan will play Bowling Green in the CCHA semifinals.
The last time these two teams met at the end of February, Michigan was in the hunt for the CCHA title, and Bowling Green was sitting in the conference basement. The Wolverines walked away from the weekend with a split — and now admit that they may have overlooked the Falcons.

Freshman righty Sara Driesenga is making her second start of the tournament after pitching five innings in yesterday's match against Saint Louis.

Hockey to advance to Joe Louis Arena with sweep of Notre Dame

After deciding last night's game in double overtime, No. 4 Michigan wanted to make quick work of No. 17 Notre Dame to advance themselves into the CCHA semi-finals next week.
Consider mission accomplished. The Wolverines sailed over the Irish with a decisive 3-1 victory.

LIVE BLOG: Michigan softball opens Red and Black tournament

LOUISVILLE, Kent. — Michigan softball opens up play in Louisville with a double-header. The 14th-ranked Wolverines face No. 16 Louisville first, then will take on Saint Louis right after.
In the first game, Michigan's offense got off to a slow start. Six up, six down in the first two innings plus an RBI single for the Cardinals (17-0 overall) left the Wolverines (16-6) facing a 1-0 deficit.

Michigan's 2013 recruiting class draws rave reviews in Scout rankings

Michigan compliance office alerted to pair of possible recruiting violations

The Michigan football team picked up its 14th commitment of the 2013 class on Tuesday — linebacker Mike McCray from Trotwood, Ohio — but the compliance department was later alerted to two possible minor recruiting violations made by wide receiver Roy Roundtree and linebacker Kenny Demens.
