Michigan defenseman Jacob Trouba hasn’t had a typical freshman campaign. He’s put up 27 points, including 12 goals, and scored two huge tallies in Michigan’s series-opening win over Western Michigan in last weekend’s CCHA quarterfinals.

Report: Big Ten divisional realignment puts Michigan in east with Ohio State and Michigan State

Adam Rittenberg reported Tuesday that the Big Ten plans to realign its divisions according to geography, with Michigan joining rivals including Ohio State and Michigan State in the east. The changes will take effect in 2014.

Athletic Department changes NCAA Tournament ticket policy after Big Ten Tournament problems

The Athletic Department has offered tickets for a potential Michigan game at The Palace of Auburn Hills to student season-ticket holders who attended at least three-quarters of the games this season, according to an Athletic Department email. Remaining student season-ticket holders can request one ticket for the each of the remaining seven possible sites.

Updated Michigan hockey playoff scenarios

The Michigan hockey team controls its own destiny to host a first-round CCHA playoff series next weekend.
With a win, which would clinch home-ice advantage, the Wolverines could finish as high as seventh in the conference. To do so, they would need another Bowling Green loss against Notre Dame. If the Falcons and Wolverines both win, Michigan would finish eighth.
