Jenson sentenced to 36 months in prison on child pornography charges

DETROIT — Stephen Jenson, a former medical resident at the University of Michigan Health System was sentenced to 36 months in federal prison for the possession of child pornography in federal court Thursday.

Former dean appointed to chancellor of University of Wisconsin-Madison

Rebecca Blank, a former dean of the Ford School of Public Policy and current acting U.S. Secretary of Commerce, has been named the next chancellor of University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Psi Upsilon suspended

The University chapter of the Psi Upsilon fraternity has been suspended by its international headquarters. According to the Office of Greek Life website, the fraternity was placed under “suspended chapter operation status” on March 18.

City attorney receives award

Ann Arbor City Attorney Stephen Postema will be honored as one of 2013’s Michigan’s Leaders in Law by the Michigan Lawyers Weekly publication.

The yearly Michigan’s Leaders in Law award recognizes 30 of Michigan’s most prominent attorneys from all across the state and from all fields of law. From these recipients, the Lawyer of the Year will be chosen.
