The Daily is on winter break

The Daily's print edition has gone into hibernation for winter break. Our next print edition will come out on Wednesday, Jan. 6.
In the meantime, we will continue to update the website with the news, sports and other stories over break at www.michigandaily.com — but since you're reading this post on a weblog, I figure you already knew that.

The Daily is on fall break

The University of Michigan is on Fall Study Break from Monday, Oct. 19 to Tuesday, Oct. 20. The Michigan Daily's next print edition will come out on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
Check michigandaily.com this weekend, Monday and Tuesday for breaking news updates and extensive coverage of Michigan football's 63-6 win over Delaware State on Saturday.

Our revamped Facebook page

Sometimes the Daily can be behind the times. Nowhere has that been more true than on Facebook. More than five years after Facebook launched, the Daily has little to no presence on the site that dominates students' procrastination time.

Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson reflects on his time at the Daily

This week, those are us at the Daily are lucky enough to be visited by Washington Post columnist and last year's Pulitzer Prize winner in commentary Eugene Robinson. In 1974, Robinson was the co-editor in chief of the Daily along with Chris Parks.
