Block 'M' Blog: Big Ten basketball power rankings, Feb. 25
BY DANIEL WASSERMAN
1) No. 1 Indiana: Even if they lost a closely-contested battle in East Lansing on Tuesday, the Hoosiers still might’ve found themselves at No. 1. None of that matters, though, as Indiana left the Breslin Center with statement win, putting themselves in the driver’s seat for the regular-season Big Ten Championship.

BY LIZ VUKELICH
Games at NFL stadiums, close margins of victories followed by blowouts — just another weekend in the CCHA. This past week, the conference’s top schools proved why they deserved the top spots, while once again, the bottom-feeders are trying to do everything in their power to avoid a trip to Alaska in the first round of the Tournament next month.

1) No. 1 Indiana: With a cupcake game against Nebraska and a rivalry game with sputtering Purdue, the nation’s top-ranked team didn’t have too much to play for. Bu the Hoosiers kept on rolling, thanks to 28 and 29-point wins. Next up: a colossal Tuesday-night showdown at Michigan State that could ultimately decide the regular-season conference champ.

Block 'M' Blog: Who's Hot, Who's Not
BY STEVEN BRAID
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. And while the “Hot or Not” meter can sometimes be off in its assessment, I like to think that it’s pretty darn accurate when it comes to determining whether you should be taking a second look at a team or letting your eyes wander elsewhere. With that, it seems to be that time again, so welcome to the third installment.

1) No. 1 Indiana (previously: 1-a): All season, two things have held steady about the Big Ten. First, it’s undisputedly the nation’s toughest conference, and second, to say winning on the road is hard would be a massive understatement.
