Baseball game suspended due to thunderstorms

Hoke: Injured linebacker Jake Ryan could return by mid-October

Michigan coach Brady Hoke said Saturday that injured linebacker Jake Ryan could return some time in the middle of the 2013 season. “I’m not a doctor, but possibly middle of October,” Hoke said on Ryan’s return date after Saturday’s Spring Game.

Inside the locker room: Michigan soaks in emotional Final Four victory

Jon Horford stood at his locker and, in the midst of being asked if he could wrap his head around the fact that his team, Michigan, was 40 minutes away from winning the national title, he interrupted my question.
“Absolutely,” Horford said.
Really?
“Really,” he said.
You’re the only one in this locker room who’s saying that.

Ben Ballantine breaks two bones in left ankle

Senior right-handed pitcher Ben Ballantine ran to cover first base after a groundball came into play in the third inning of Tuesday’s game against Bowling Green. He made it over there fine, but once he stepped on the bag, something became visibly wrong.

Torn anterior cruciate ligaments have become something of an unfortunate trend for the Wolverines this spring, and with news coming out on Monday that redshirt sophomore quarterback Russell Bellomy tore his ACL last week in practice, Michigan’s depth at quarterback has been seriously compromised.

Russell Bellomy tears ACL, leaving Michigan with one scholarship quarterback on roster

Redshirt sophomore quarterback Russell Bellomy suffered ananterior cruciate ligament tear in last Friday’s practice, the Michigan football team announced Monday. Bellomy would have likely been the backup quarterback to redshirt junior Devin Gardner, and the injury leaves Gardner as the only healthy scholarship quarterback left on the roster.

Block 'M' Blog: Student Final Four tickets available for $40

Michigan students who were worried about the high cost of a trip to Atlanta for the Michigan men’s basketball team’s first Final Four berth since 1993 can now rest easy.
The NCAA has offered 700 $40 student tickets to each of the schools participating in the Final Four. On Sunday, Michigan’s Athletic Department released information regarding the purchase of the tickets.
