Warm towels?

WHEN: Monday at about 1:50 a.m.
WHAT: A student’s towel caught fire in their room, University Police reported. The building was cleared and a housing security officer put out the flames with a fire extinguisher.

Four wheels beats two

WHERE: 1120 Catherine St.
WHEN: Tuesday at about 10:10 a.m.
WHAT: A student on a bike was hit by a car, University Police reported. The student sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Better change the lock

WHERE: 500 Block of Church Street
WHEN: Tuesday at 5:15 p.m.
WHAT: A cable securing a bicycle to a rack was cut and the bike was stolen, University Police reported. The bike was taken between 11:10 a.m. and 5:10 p.m.

Cubicle caper

WHERE: North Campus Research Complex
WHEN: Tuesday at about 1 p.m.
WHAT: A laptop was stolen from a cubicle, University Police Reported. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Monday.
