Shapiro Undergraduate Library closed today due to electrical problems

Shapiro Undergraduate Library was closed today but is expected to reopen as soon as tomorrow morning, according to University spokesperson Rick Fitzgerald.
The closure is due to an electrical problem within the library that affected the air conditioning in the building, Fitzgerald said.
The situation is unique to Shapiro, he added, and according to the most recent report, the problem has been fixed.
The University Libraries website originally said the building would be closed from July 20 at 6 p.m. through July 23.
The closure included the main library, Shapiro Science Library, Askwith Media Library, Bert's Café and Tech Deck, according to the website.
