U-M law professor eyes Michigan Supreme Court seat

University Law Prof. Bridget McCormick is seeking one of three open seats up for grabs on the Michigan Supreme Court this fall, according to the Associated Press. McCormick, who is running as a Democrat, oversees the University’s law clinics and has worked as an advocate for prisoners.

Michigan State seeks to bump Spartan Stadium scoreboards project budget to $10 million

In an effort to upgrade outdated equipment and keep up with its rivals, Michigan State University has proposed a $10 million dollar upgrade to the scoreboards at Spartan Stadium. If the project is approved, construction will begin in March and is scheduled to be completed by July 2013.
