Turn to A$AP Rocky’s single to find the answer to a vital question: “Exactly how many bitches does 2 Chainz have?”

“F**ckin’ Problems,” the second single from A$AP Rocky’s LongLiveA$AP, is coated in lavish swagger and unnecessary levels of misogyny by verses from Rocky, Drake and Kendrick Lamar, as well as an amusingly ignorant 2 Chainz hook — one that will likely kill the song’s radio potential with explicit content.
In addition to its glaring musical shortcomings — including a beat that sounds like a half-hearted retread of the harder tracks from Drake’s Take Care — this Noah “40” Shebib-produced track suffers severely because its only compelling features are its features.
Rocky took the “strength in numbers” approach and, as a result, Rocky is outshined and out-rapped by Drake and Lamar, who closes the song with one of the most memorable verses of 2012.
Only Lamar, with his high-pitched lisp, could turn a line like “Girl, I know you want this dick” into a song-worthy utterance. Lamar’s comical delivery of that line might just be the highlight of “F**ckin’ Problems” — an overall mediocre track that will do little to advance the promising career of A$AP Rocky.
