Strictly 4 My Jeeps
"Strictly 4 My Jeeps"

For those unversed in Action Bronson, know he’s got more confidence than you. The gourmet chef-turned-rapper has a voice reminiscent of Ghostface Killah, a sense of humor like ODB and intelligent lyrics with more metaphors than a creative writing class.
Queens-born Bronson seamlessly straddles the border between shit-talker and storyteller, but in his newest track, “Strictly 4 My Jeeps,” he plays the role of hyperactive braggart perfectly. The beat has a classic New York feel, but producer Harry Fraud adds some modern production values, reinforcing Bronson’s “old is new again” steez.
Unsurprisingly, Bronzileno’s got jokes. Whether lampooning himself (“now my beard look like Uday and Qusay”) or the ‘royal rap you’ (“take you back to 5th grade, punch you in your face like picture day”), the son of Albanian immigrants continues cementing his unique place in the underground world, and may find himself aboveground pretty soon.
