With the final Big Ten regular season game in the books, it’s that time of year again for college football’s best players — lots of awards and buffet lines.

Michigan sophomore quarterback Denard Robinson started re-writing the record books during the Wolverines’ first game of the season and didn’t stop through Saturday’s loss against Ohio State.
On Monday, both the conference coaches and media selected Robinson as the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year. He was also named to the All-Big Ten first team quarterback by the media, and an honorable mention by the coaches — Northwestern’s Dan Persa (1st) and Wisconsin’s Scott Tolzien (2nd) were chosen ahead of him.
Robinson ran for 1,643 yards on the season, setting an NCAA record for rushing yards by a quarterback — he also became the first player in NCAA history to throw and run for more than 1,500 yards in the same season. The rushing total is the fifth highest in Michigan school history. Through the air, Robinson completed 155-of-250 passes for 2,316 yards and threw 16 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He was the centerpiece of Michigan’s offense, which led the Big Ten with 500 yards per game.
Redshirt junior center David Molk was named to the All-Big Ten first team by the coaches and the second team by the media. Molk has been a candidate for the Rimington award, given to the nation's best center, the past two seasons and bounced back after missing most of 2009 to play in all 12 games this year.
Junior nose guard Mike Martin (coaches), redshirt sophomore receiver Roy Roundtree (media) and senior linebacker Jonas Mouton (media) were also named to conference’s second team lists — Martin also was an honorable mention selection by the media.
Fifth-year senior guard Steve Schilling earned an honorable mention from both the media and coaches; redshirt sophomore safety Jordan Kovacs was an honorable mention selection by the media as well.
