After a record-setting year in which he became the first FBS quarterback to ever run for more than 1,500 yards and pass for more than 2,000 yards, sophomore quarterback Denard Robinson was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year by the conference's coaches and media.

He was also named to the All-Big Ten first team.
Robinson finished with 1,643 yards, making him the second-leading rusher in the NCAA. Only Western Kentucky running back Bobby Rainey finished with more yards on the ground than Robinson.
Junior center David Molk was also named to the All-Big Ten first team. Redshirt sophomore wideout Roy Roundtree, senior linebacker Jonas Mouton and junior defensive tackle Mike Martin were named to the conference's second team.
