Toledo t-shirts outnumbered the Maize and Blue ones, despite the Michigan's women's basketball team's second round WNIT matchup taking place at Crisler Arena. Despite this disparity, the Wolverines beat the Rockets 72-57 on Sunday afternoon.

Michigan got off to a quick start going up 10-5 early in the matchup. But after two Toledo 3-pointers and a 50 percent field goal shooting percentage in the first half, the Rockets found themselves back in the contest. They led the game at halftime 34-29.
Michigan coach Kevin Borseth drew up something effective in the locker room and the Wolverines started the second half firing on all cylinders. After dominating the second half, Michigan's offensive firepower was too much for the Rockets.
The Wolverines were led by some high shooters in the win. Senior Krista Phillips tallied 22 points, sophomore Carmen Reynolds scored 21 and freshman guard Dayeesha Hollins finished the game with 19.
