After losing both games in yesterday's double-header against Iowa, the Michigan baseball team looked to rebound today and salvage a win from the weekend.

And that's just what the Wolverines did in their 7-5 win on Saturday at Ray Fisher Stadium.
Michigan’s bats started lighting up in the bottom of the second inning when senior first baseman Mike Dufek laced a home run over the center field fence, good for about 400 feet. Then, late in the third frame, junior Ryan LaMarre cranked one of his own out of the park.
The runs didn’t stop there. Sophomore designated hitter Coley Crank nailed a triple that drove in two runs and senior catcher Chris Berset had a double of his own that knocked in one run.
Junior pitcher Tyler Burgoon had a key seventh inning for the Wolverines (7-5 Big Ten, 25-14 overall), as he pitched three straight strikeouts to close the frame.
