The No. 3 Michigan women’s gymnastics team came out victorious in Saturday’s tri-meet over No. 21 Illinois and Penn State.

The Wolverines (4-0 Big Ten, 5-0 overall) finished with a final team score of 194.900, compared to the Fighting Illini’s 194.475 and the Nittany Lions’ 194.450.
Senior Kylee Botterman led the effort by winning four out of five individual titles — vault, beam, floor and all-around. With the performance, Botterman notched her second straight Big Ten Gymnast of the Week award.
Michigan’s freshmen stepped up in the meet as well, as Reema Zakharia came in at third on the beam and Stephanie Colbert was second on the vault.
