In a report from ESPN that claimed Appalachian State quarterback Armanti Edwards was going to miss a few weeks due to injury, ESPN also dropped a painfully ironic bomb for Michigan fans.

Slot receiver/quarterback Justin Feagin who was dismissed from the team a few weeks ago for a violation of team rules has announced that he will transfer to Appalachian State.

Due to the fact that Appalachian State is an FCS team, Feagin will be eligible to line up under center in the fall.

Edwards is expected to be Appalachian State's quarterback upon return to the position with three All-American honors under his belt.

In 2007, Edwards led Appalachian State to one of the biggest upsets in NCAA Football history when they beat Michigan in the Wolverines' home opener.
