ESPN.com is reporting that former Michigan quarterback Steven Threet has decided to transfer to Arizona State.

The redshirt freshman started eight games last season and officially decided to transfer in mid-February. According to the report, Threet also examined Oregon State but clicked with the Sun Devils's coaching staff during a visit last weekend.
In 2008, Threet finished 102-of-200 for 1,105 yards with nine touchdowns and seven interceptions. Per NCAA rules, Threet must sit out next season. He will become eligible as a redshirt junior for the 2010 season.
